This uncompromising precision is more than
a process

It’s a belief. At Richard Mille,
quality is not a goal but a mindset:
excellence without compromise drives
every decision.

Every incoming component undergoes a rigorous visual inspection.

Even the slightest imperfection leads to immediate rejection.

Assembling a Richard Mille movement requires 50 to 60 meticulous operations. This uncompromising standard results in a 30–40% rejection rate, ensuring only flawless components make it through.

Certified ISO 9001 since 2005, the brand upholds the highest standards in traceability, quality control, and continuous improvement, driven by close collaboration between engineers and watchmakers.

Once assembled and cased, each timepiece is subjected to:

  • Full dust-free disinfection,

  • A minimum two-week chronometric testing,

  • A final inspection ensuring both mechanical

    precision
and aesthetic perfection.

Innovating Without limits

At Richard Mille, research and development is more than a department — it’s the beating heart of our creativity. From idea to execution, we rethink every detail to achieve the impossible.
