BASEPLATE AND BRIDGES IN GRADE 5 TITANIUM
Microblasted grade 5 titanium with electroplasma treatment gives great rigidity to the baseplate, as well as precise surface flatness which is essential for the perfect functioning of the gear train. Bridges are also in grade 5 titanium, microblasted and electroplasma treatment. The skeletonised baseplate and the bridges were subjected to separate and extensive validation tests to ensure optimal strength requirements.

This rotor with variable inertia has been incorporated into the caliber CRMA2 as it allows the rotor to be set according to the owner’s activity level. The setting is modified by adjusting the two weights which can be moved into the correct position and fixed in place by spline screws. Inertia of the movement is increased when the two weights are closer to each other and the barrel then rewinds more quickly. If the weights are positioned to the extremities of the rotor, the inertia is decreased, resulting in the barrel winding more slowly.
FREE SPRUNG BALANCE WITH VARIABLE INERTIA
Guarantees greater reliability when subjected to shock and also during movement assembly and disassembly, hence better chronometric results over time. The regulator index has been eliminated, thus guaranteeing a more accurate and repeatable adjustment is possible thanks to 4 small adjustable weights located directly on the balance.

CASE
The design and execution of the watch demonstrates a complete conceptual approach to the movement, case and dial. As a result, everything has been constructed according to an extremely rigorous specifications and in complete harmony.
The three-part case is water resistant to 50 meters ensured by 2 Nitril O-ring seals. The case is assembled with 12 grade 5 titanium spline screws and abrasion resistant washers in 316L stainless steel.
CASE IN CARBON TPT®
The design and execution of this watch are proof of the holistic conceptual approach applied to its movement, case, and dial. As a result, the watch has been built to extremely rigorous specifications and in perfect harmony.
The bezel and case back are machined from TPT® carbon, an exclusive material with a unique damascened appearance. TPT® carbon is a composite material made of multiple layers of parallel filaments obtained by splitting carbon fibers. These layers, with a maximum thickness of 30 microns, are impregnated with a matrix and then woven on a special machine that alters the weave direction by 45° between the different layers. After being heated to 120°C at a pressure of 6 bar, the TPT® carbon is ready to be processed by a CNC machine at the Richard Mille case factory. TPT® carbon improves the stress fracture rate by 25% and the microcrack rate by 200% compared to other technically advanced carbon materials.
The tripartite case is watertight to 50 meters thanks to two nitrile O-rings. It is assembled using 12 grade 5 titanium spline screws and wear-resistant 316L stainless steel washers.
